Strengthening Global Ties: Minister Nentawe Yilwatda Champions Renewed Hope for Vulnerable Groups in Nigeria

In a pivotal move towards enhancing support for vulnerable groups in Nigeria, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Nigeria’s Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, met with key organizations including the Qatar Fund for Development, Education Above All Foundation, and Qatar Charity. The meeting focused on strengthening partnerships under the Renewed Hope for Vulnerable Groups Support Initiative. The Minister and the Qatari organizations discussed a collaborative approach to empowering Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Nigeria. Plans include providing food support, durable solutions, vocational and tech-focused skills training, and job placement opportunities. Minister Yilwatda expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential to transform the lives of vulnerable Nigerians, ensuring long-term support and stability for those most in need.
